My name is Guus van Zeijl. I was born in Delft on May 1, 1982, and I live in Wateringen with my wife and two children.
After 15 years in IT, I felt a lack of fulfillment in my work. I wanted to do more with my passion for personal development and coaching, which led me to pursue a career as a professional coach.
I completed a post-HBO registered training as a Professional Coach at Inzicht and am a member of NOBCO. Additionally, I hold a European EIA accreditation (EMCC Global Individual Accreditation), making me a certified coach.
I have guided many people through challenges such as:

1. Introduction (Free & Non-Binding)
Our first session is a free and non-binding introduction. We will discuss what you want to change, the challenges you’re facing, and what you hope to achieve. This session also helps determine whether coaching is the right step for you and if there is a good match between you and my coaching approach.
2. Intake & Goal Setting
If we decide to move forward together, we will have an intake session. Here, we dive deeper into your situation and explore which approach and methods best align with your needs. Together, we define realistic and achievable goals that will guide your coaching journey.
3. Coaching Process
The coaching process is fully tailored to your personal situation. Depending on your needs, we may work on:
✔ Understanding behaviors, values and beliefs – Whats important to you? Who do you want to be? What is holding you back, and how can you break through these patterns?
✔ Building self-confidence and resilience – How can you stand stronger in your own power?
✔ Finding balance and restoring energy – How can you prevent burnout and take better care of yourself?
✔ Recovering from burnout or processing trauma – How can you create space for healing and personal growth?
I use a variety of methods, including:
✔ ACT (Acceptance & Commitment Therapy) – Learning to deal with thoughts and emotions in a constructive way.
✔ Voice Dialogue & NLP – Gaining insight into inner patterns and taking control of your behavior.
✔ Mindfulness & RET (Rational Emotive Therapy) – Developing inner calm and resilience in challenging situations.
✔ Trauma-sensitive coaching & stress management – Processing impactful experiences and learning to handle stress more effectively.
Between sessions, you may receive exercises or reflection questions to help integrate your insights into daily life.
